M.P.S. Fashion Management.
During my time pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Fashion Management (Class of 2024) at Parsons School of Design, I had the opportunity to refine my creative voice while developing a strategic understanding of the global fashion industry. My experience was defined by a balance of innovation, collaboration, and hands-on industry engagement.
A standout moment in my graduate journey was placing 3rd in the Kate Spade x WindowsWear competition, where I competed against hundreds of students from leading institutions worldwide. Presenting my work at the Tapestry headquarters was both an honor and a defining milestone, reinforcing my passion for merging creativity with brand storytelling in a luxury retail context.
Throughout the program, I collaborated with peers and faculty on industry-driven projects, including pitching a new product concept to LVMH’s Rimowa, where my team explored innovation within the luxury travel space through a strategic and design-forward lens. This experience further strengthened my ability to translate creative ideas into viable, market-ready concepts.
My academic journey culminated in a 360° marketing campaign for Alpha Industries, Inc.’s iconic MA-1 bomber jacket, which we presented directly to their marketing team. Drawing inspiration from retro-futurism and New York City’s graffiti culture, our campaign integrated digital innovation, print media, immersive retail experiences, and a dynamic advertisement video—demonstrating the power of cohesive, multi-channel storytelling.
A unique aspect of my time at Parsons was the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom, with select sessions held at iconic locations such as Bergdorf Goodman, Macy’s Herald Square, Material ConneXions, the MANGO flagship store, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The MET). These experiences provided invaluable, real-world insight into luxury retail, merchandising, materials innovation, and cultural influence within the fashion industry.
My time at Parsons concluded with a memorable commencement ceremony featuring an inspiring address by Tory Burch, whose insights on resilience, creativity, and leadership continue to influence my professional outlook.
Overall, my graduate experience at Parsons shaped me into a forward-thinking creative strategist, prepared to contribute meaningfully to the evolving landscape of fashion, luxury branding, and consumer experience.
