In the summer of 2018, Christian was awarded a scholarship through a competitive essay contest to study Art Studies in Italy. During his time abroad, he immersed himself in the rich artistic heritage of the country, spending much of his time exploring historic museums and galleries across Rome, Florence, Siena, Venice, and Vatican City. There, he engaged deeply with the works of renowned masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Giovanni Bellini, and experienced iconic masterpieces firsthand, including The Statue of David, The Birth of Venus, and the breathtaking ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

Beyond classical art, Christian expanded his perspective by studying the craftsmanship and branding of luxury fashion houses, including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Versace, and Burberry. He connected with local leather manufacturers who demonstrated the intricate processes behind the creation and distribution of luxury handbags, offering valuable insight into the industry. Additionally, he visited the island of Murano, just outside of Venice, where he observed master glassblowers at work. One artisan in particular, renowned on the island, had been creating traditional Murano glass pieces for over 30 years—providing Christian with a firsthand look at a centuries-old craft still thriving today.
